Study and Work: IUBH offers new study programme specially tailored for students from abroad

Study and gain lots of practical experience at the same time: the new Study & Work programme at IUBH offers this – specially tailored for foreign students. In the bachelor`s degree programme International Hotel Management (Study & Work) students start their studies with an intensive two-year German course on campus. Afterwards they switch on a weekly basis between doing academic course work and working at one of IUBH’s business partner companies in the hotel and hospitality industry. After nine semesters, they complete their bachelor’s degree.  “In tourism, there is an increasing demand for highly qualified junior employees”, says Prof Dr Peter Neumann, IUBH professor of tourism. “Our combination of theory and work experience gives our students a competitive edge in the labour market.” Worldwide IUBH is one of the leading universities in terms of corporate partnering for dual studies.

The new programme starts in autumn 2017. A higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate and proven English proficiency is required for admission. Applications are now being accepted.
