IUBH founder member of ?Quality Circle Event Studies?
Professors of German universities with independent Event study programmes founded a network: the "Qualitäty Circle Event Studies (Qualitätszirkel Eventstudium)". Part of it: the IUBH.
Goal of the initiative is the definition and the covering of adequate standards of the academic event studies, but also of the event education in general. By linking with each other and by the permanent exchange with relevant organisations and companies impulses, backgrounds, reflexions and solutions shall be given together with and for the industry.

The initiative combines state-run and private universities and study programmes with different professional key aspects. Among the founder members are Astrid Mühlböck (International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef · Bonn (IUBH)), Cornelia Zanger (Chemnitz University of Technology), Hermann Josef Kiel (Heilbronn University), Stefan Luppold (Karlshochschule International University), Hans Rück (Worms University of Applied Sciences), Helmut Schwägermann (Hochschule Osnabrück - University of Applied Sciences) and Ulrich Wünsch (hdpk - University of Applied and Popular Arts Berlin). Together they want to help the event industry to take a step forward.

The quality circle conforms to the university quality management systems and furthermore aims for the critical and active discussion with the practice, which is supposed to be for the benefit of teaching and education as well as practice.
