Effective immediately, on-campus studies at the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef-Bonn (IUBH) bear the title “IUBH School of Business and Management”. Under the IUBH umbrella, the university’s merge with the Adam-Ries University of Applied Sciences (ARFH) indicates a clear focus on on-campus study programmes. The merger takes effect in winter semester 2013/14. The new title points to a stronger emphasis on the international management aspects of the on-campus study programmes. “IUBH on-campus studies are characterised by academic programmes aligned to global markets and an unusually high proportion of faculty and students from abroad,” says Prof. Dr. Peter Thuy, Rector of the IUBH. “With the new title we acknowledge more clearly our commitment to the international orientation of our programmes, programmes which qualify our students for management positions in service management world-wide.” Dr. Kurt Jeschke is Dean of the IUBH School of Business and Management.
