IUBH and Cologne Bonn Airport have agreed cooperation in the field of Aviation Management.

Last winter term 176 students have successfully finished their studies at IUBH. Around 100 graduates took part in the celebratory graduation ceremony on Saturday, 21st of April in the Bad Honnef Kurhaus.

„Good Morning and welcome to IUBH“, with those words 20 participants at the IUBH Trial studies were welcomed on campus. For two days prospective students from all over Germany had the opportunity to experience the daily study life at the English speaking university in Bad Honnef.

Thirty Aviation Management students had the opportunity to visit the largest European airline and thus got an insight into the daily airline business.

Prof. Dr. Wachowiak and Janka Kensik analyze in cooperation with the communal business development agency of the city of Königswinter the potential of the tourism in the Siebengebirge region.

Following the success of their academic textbook entitled Sustainability in the Hospitality Industry: Principles of Sustainable Operations, IUBH lecturers Mr. Willy Legrand and Mr. Philip Sloan are regularly invited by the industry and other academic institutions to discuss top-of-hospitality-industry-agenda issues of “sustainability”. For the second year in a row, Mr. Legrand and Mr. Sloan recently held three intensive days of discussions, lectures and debates with final year hospitality management students from the recognized Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France.
