Campus gastronomy

An atmosphere of contentment – right down the line. The campus’ own gastronomy leaves no wish unfulfilled. The modern cafeteria provides students and lecturers with a pleasant and friendly setting for a well-balanced lunch, the St. Anno Restaurant is popular rendezvous for Bad Honnef society at lunchtime, and in Charly’s Lounge, our student bar, a delicious latte macchiato is available between lectures.


Dallmayr The campus features the world's first Dallmayr Café & Bar!

The new lounge was designed by the well-known architects Arnold/Werner, whose clients include the FC Bayern Munich as well as Dallmayr and the sporting goods producer Kickz. The interior design conveys lifestyle and relaxation. Working and comfort go side by side in the Day Lounge. It will be an oasis within a busy work environment. Enjoy a cup of Java, chat or browse over the Financial Times during your break. Stay on campus but step outside of work! The pleasant atmosphere will appeal to enjoy Dallmayr coffee specialties and Italian snacks like Tramezzini or filled Focaccia.

Mensa In our new and modern cafeteria, students can choose daily from a large range of healthy and delicious dishes. Lunch can be combined from 15 different dishes, ranging from vegetables and pasta to crunchy salads and delicious desserts.

The Cafeteria offers a meal to suit every taste and is conveniently located right at the heart of the campus. Seating 300 people, it is not just a venue for good eating. Regular wine-tasting events organised by the university's own Grape(S)ociety are also held on the spacious premises.

Charly's A special attraction is the student bar Charly's Lounge. Not only can students relax over a café latte, Charly's Lounge is also the location of our in-house parties. This is where we celebrate the October Festival and Halloween. Spontaneous barbeques even take place on the roof terrace when our Head Chef thinks the weather is fine enough.

Anno The anno combines international culinary delicacies with friendly and professional service - regardless of whether for a business lunch or dining pleasure, for a company event or a family celebration. Situated at the heart of St. Anno Park with its mature stock of trees, the restaurant's outdoor gastronomy can be enjoyed to the full on fine summer days when everyday cares are quickly forgotten.

As a restaurant catering for functions and events, 'das anno' offers its guests a calendar of events containing surprisingly diverse and out-of-the-ordinary themes in the evenings. Hot tip: you should not miss the 'Student's Gala Dinner' held by the hospitality management students several times per semester. The managers-to-be take over the running of anno for a day. Planned and organised by the students themselves, the marketing and successful management of the evening lies in their own hands, although they are supported, of course, by their expert trainer and the lecturers responsible, Philip Sloan und Willy Legrand.
