IT on campus

Campus WLAN

On our campus in Bad Honnef students can access the university's Intranet as well as the Internet through WLAN. The library catalogue is available on campus and also off campus and offers access to extensive research databases.

Campus Administration Resource Environment (CARE)

Each student has his own account in our Campus Administration Resource Environment (CARE). This campus Management system highly supports various processes in an efficient way in our two campus locations, for example enrollment, timetables and appointments, exam enrollment, download of lecture material and much more.

University E-Mail address

All students receive an e-mail address of the university, in order to support the communication between the university and students.

Notebook on campus

All students are required to have an own notebook to work during the studies. Students of our university profit from the offer of our partner U + P Systemhaus and are able to order ACER Notebooks which will be delivered completely configured and ready to be used. More information about ACER Notebooks can be found in the IT shop for our students at U + P Systemhaus.

Each of the presented notebooks fulfills the requirements in order to be used on campus during your studies. You can choose on your own if you wish to have any extras or further equipment. Computer Training Lab

In our computer training lab, the courses in Computer Training and further Software Trainings are taking place. Students learn for example how to use MS Office for their studies and professional career or how to complete statistical analyses wit Data Mining Programs.
