Language Department

Good language and intercultural skills are required to successfully work in international business, particularly in the services sector.

Our language department is dedicated to meeting these demands. English is not a foreign language at the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef · Bonn, but the medium of tuition. In the first three semesters, our students are instructed in Academic Writing, Contemporary Business Writing and Communication and Advanced Professional and Academic Skills. In addition, Business Communication courses concentrate on everyday practice and issues such as intercultural communication skills and presentation techniques.

The language department offers courses in six languages:

A language course must be successfully concluded at least to the intermediate level. In cooperation with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Paris and Madrid, the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef · Bonn also offers certificate courses in French and Spanish.
