Careers in Aviation Management

Your future - your career opportunities

The Aviation Management programme qualifies our graduates for international and diverse job opportunities. As an employee in the area of Network Management, for example, you will be qualified to create and optimize airline flight schedules that provide ideal networks for customers and  the best possible flight loads for the airline. In contrast, you will be prepared to act as As aYield Manager, on the other hand,  you will be able to optimise the returns per passenger by adjusting ticket prices to actual demand and thus creating an ideal mixture of occupancy and economic return.

Further areas of employment are, for example: Airport-Marketing, Market Research / Business Analyst for airports and airlines, Process Management / Total Quality Management for Cargo airlines, Station Management, fleet planning and aircraft financing, strategic corporate planning or controlling. Typical employers are airlines, airports, national and international unions, companies in the logistics and supplier industry as well as consultancies.

The graduates of the IUBH School of Business and Management are well respected employees in national and international companies. Furthermore, they have the advantage of potentially beginning their careers while at the IUBH via contacts established at IUBH’s annual recruiting fair "Career Days".
