Christin Hänsel

Job entry as a Junior Consultant

After I had successfully passed my A-levels in New Zealand in 2005, I was looking for a university in Germany which offered me the possibility to study in the area of Tourism Management with English as the language of instruction. I became aware of the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef · Bonn, due to its interesting combination of outstanding theoretical and practically oriented education with several semesters abroad.

The four-years of my study programme simply flew by - I completed an internship in Chile, a study year at the Victoria University in Melbourne (where I also earned my Bachelor's degree) as well as another internship at Thomas Cook AG. I wrote my Diploma Thesis in cooperation with Thomas Cook AG and during this time I received an interesting job offer from the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef · Bonn.

Since June 2010 I have been working as a Junior Consultant at h2c in Dusseldorf and I feel very at home within this young company. The work is fun, very diverse and always provides me with new challenges. I imagined my professional life exactly like this and I am pleased to be able to broaden the knowledge which I gained at the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef · Bonn.
