Hospitality Management

Daniel Scholles

Even before I started my studies at IUBH at the campus in Bad Reichenhall in September 2010, I had been fascinated by the global opportunities in the hospitality industry. Since then, the diversified study program offered at this university has reinforced my commitment.

On the one hand, I have been able to profit from the extensive knowledge and industry experience of our professors. On the other hand, I could apply my theoretical understanding through practical elements that are part of the study program and through working for a local luxury resort hotel.

Bad Reichenhall itself has a long history in the hotel industry and in educating its future executives, which is continued by our new, growing campus. The resulting familiarity offers large opportunities for us students since professors and lecturers know every student personally and have an open door for us at any time. Consequently, close relationships and individual support play an important role in our classrooms.

Although Bad Reichenhall itself reflects this familiarity, Salzburg, where students often recover from their lectures, is only a short drive away.

In my opinion, all these features make the IUBH campus in Bad Reichenhall a perfect place to live and to be prepared for the exciting and challenging life as a manager in the hospitality sector.
