Hospitality Real Estate Certificate

The IUBH School of Business and Management offers in cooperation with Hospitality Real Estate Akademie (HREA), Bad Honnef one of Europe's first professional programmes in hospitality real estate.
The new, part-time Hospitality Real Estate Certificate focuses on the conception, realisation, acquisition and administration of hotels, resorts, spas and other leisure properties. The certificate is subdivided into four modules:
- Hotel development
- Hotel real estate management
- Investment and financing
- Trends in hotel development
With successful completion of the study course students receive a certificate from the university and the Akademie as Certified Hospitality Real Estate Manager.
Certified Hospitality Real Estate Manager
Students are also eligbile to receive 9 ETCS credits for the study courseThe course is suited for the following occupational groups as an advanced vocational training.
- Students of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Real Estate Management or Architecture
- Professionals in the real estate industry
- Architects
- Hoteliers
- Institutions and private persons intending to invest in hotels

Entry requirements
Applicants must present- Bachelor's Degree in one of the following areas:
- Business Administration
- Hospitality
- Tourism
- Geography
- Finance
- Law
- Architecture
- Civil engineering
- Real Estate
- Proof of at least 3 years of professional experience in one of these fields.
Sufficiently qualified students studying in one of the above listed areas, 6th semester or further, may apply for the course.
A sound knowledge of English is mandatory.
Tuition fees
The fee for the certificate amounts to € 2,490,-.
Students and Alumni of the IUBH pay only € 1,245.
After signing up for the course students receive the tuition contract. Once this one has been signed students receive the invoice.
