Every day, people and goods move around the globe by air, rail, sea and road. This programme looks at the logistical complexities of managing distribution and shipping and the influence of factors like time and economics.
Master programme in Transport & Logistics Management is divided into eight
modules and provides management knowledge important in the transport industry.
The goal is to equip students with the knowledge and methods needed to work in the transport sector and which can be applied to various modes of transport.
The curriculum focuses on international issues and the globalisation of the transport industry. In addition to transport-specific topics, general business issues like management accounting and controlling are included. International cases and projects add a practical element to coursework. To familiarise students with the terminology and environment of the international transport sector, English is the language of instruction.
Students may take additional language courses if they can be combined with the curriculum. We offer Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, Russian and German as foreign languages on different levels. The participation in a language course is optional and costs € 290.
