st.i.p. Aviation - study and intensive practice

The partnership between Deutsche Lufthansa AG and the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef ∙ Bonn (IUBH)

The st.i.p programme - study and intensive practice - began in August 2004 as a partnership between Deutsche Lufthansa AG and the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef ∙ Bonn. Selected students, thus, have the chance to gather intensive practical experience at Lufthansa during their studies.

Programme participants work in five practical areas over a total of 39 weeks. This includes freight and check-in and certain Lufthansa Group management departments. Preparatory and accompanying training, lectures, tours and projects enrich the programme, which finishes with the bachelor thesis being written at Lufthansa.

Lufthansa covers training fees and travel costs for transportation to placement locations. During your placements you will also receive an allowance of € 550 per month.
