2. Additional expenses:

Enrolment fee
When a university place is reserved for you an enrolment fee of € 450 is incurred.

Meals
At the beginning of your studies you'll buy a campus card which you can pay in all gastronomical facilities on campus or use the copiers. In the first three semesters the card will be issued to a countervalue of € 600 per semester. For every other semester you are on campus, € 300 will be charged.

Notebooks
To study at the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef · Bonn students need a personal notebook. New students who don't possess a notebook can purchase ACER notebooks for a discount price from €600 via our cooperation partner U+P Systemhaus. These are specifically configured for study at the IUBH and match the internal requirements. Further information is available on the distribution partner's homepage: www.up-systemhaus.de

Semester Ticket
This ticket is appropriate for IUBH students and entitles the holder to use the public transport system within the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (association of transport companies covering Cologne, Bonn and the neighbouring districts, see www.vrsinfo.de for more information). This costs approximately € 100 for one semester.

Further additional costs may also be incurred, for example, for books, copies/printouts, field trips, sightseeing tours, visits to trade fairs, etc.
