Academic Preparation for International Students

If you don't fulfil the requirements for a direct university entry, then you have to pass the foundation year of the Path2University College.

The Pathway programme will enhance your knowledge. Passing the final exam gives you the required German university entrance qualification.

The English-speaking programme includes modules such as Business Mathematics, Fundamentals of Economics and Management, German Language, English as Language of Science & Management, Introduction into Germany - People, History, Everyday Life, and Media Competence - Media Management. 

The Pathway programme period is 2 semesters.


Entry Requirements


Fees

Tuition fee (for two semesters/whole year): € 7,900*

For the time being scholarships are not available.


Additional fixed expenses

Enrolment fee
When a university place is reserved for you an enrolment fee of € 500* is incurred.

Student accommodation/housing
All students are offered accommodation in one of six modern apartment houses either directly on campus or within only a two-minute walk.
You will stay in a 2- or 3-person flat with joint use of kitchen and bathroom.
The costs amount to € 3,900* for two semesters.

Lunch
All students can have lunch on campus. The fixed payment for meals covers a hot lunch from Mondays to Fridays during the lecture periods.
The costs amount to € 1,200* for two semesters.

Field trips
All students are offered two regional field trips to learn more about Germany's history and life style.
The costs amount to € 1,100* for two semesters.

Care-package
Our Student Services Office is there to help, guide and assist you with your move to Germany and early "settle in" to the live in Germany. They will help you move into your room in the campus accommodation and might even help carry your suitcase. Our Care-package offers students assistance for all matters related to

Additional living expenses for subsequent years of your studies are not listed. On average a student in Germany will require approximately € 600 to 900 per month for living expenses.
