Have fun, be active
Sports play an important role at the IUBH School of Business and Management.
More and more interested students unite to train together. Whether ball games or endurance training, whether dancing or martial arts, you will find the right sport for you.
These IUBH teams and clubs are currently active:
IUBH Basketball TeamThe IUBH Basketball Team welcomes everyone who would like to play basketball. In this summer semester the team trains and plays twice a week. On Wednesdays from 20.30 to 22.00 and on Fridays from 20.30 - 22.00. There is a fee of 10,- Euros for playing the whole semester.
IUBH Cycling Club
Since the summer semester of 2010 there has been an opportunity to join the Cycling Club and have fun with others who are fond of their two-wheeled aluminum horses. Everyone who is looking for a friendly environment, new experience and would like to train or just take peaceful rides along the Rhine or in Siebengebirge in a group is welcome. All you need is a good mood, road or mountain bikes and sunny weather from Mother Nature. The team meets about 2 or 3 times a week.
IUBH Dancing Club
You always wanted to take some dancing lessons, but never had the time or money to do so? Here is your opportunity! Every Wednesday the IUBH Dancing Club meets at 07:30 - 09:00 p.m. at the cafeteria.
From international ballroom dancing to international latin, from latin swing to swing boogie - we want to try everything!

IUBH Hockey Team
Motivated with joy for the game - that's the IUBH Hockey Team. Training takes place twice a week to make sure the opponents have no chance of winning. The team enters various tournaments each semester to meet other university squads. And of course the fun won't be forgotten either. No matter if you are a beginner or an advanced - the team is very happy to welcome everybody.
IUBH Kickboxing Club
Some people look for action in sports. Others want to work out in order to get rid of stress. The IUBH Kickboxing Club offers the right sport for both. Once a week the club trains endurance, strength and coordination. The level of the work out will be adjusted to existing skills and styles of kickboxing. Every student of the IUBH is welcome, male or female , beginner or experienced.
IUBH Modern Dance Group
To all who like dancing in a modern and sportive way, the IUBH Modern Dance Group is the best opportunity! This semester the sessions take place on Wednesday in the IUBH cafeteria. The training is about keeping mind and body in motion. Everybody, girls and boys from all semesters are welcome to join.
IUBH Rugby Team
The IUBH Barbarians are the Rugby Team of the IUBH School of Business and Management. The team meets and trains twice a week. Their aim is to play in the ADH-League in the future. Anybody who is interested in training and playing rugby is welcome.
IUBH Running Club
The IUBH Running Club is a group of students and lecturers who like running and training together. Everyone is welcome, no matter if beginner or experienced. The Club also plans joint participation at running events or other fun events. The joint running training takes place every Tuesday evening. Meeting point is the bridge to island Grafenwerth, opposite the train station.
IUBH Soccer Team
Of course, soccer is also very popular on campus: not only men love it, but also women , and that's why the IUBH has a men’s team and a women’s team. In addition to the weekly training, tournaments are the focus of the soccer teams. Both teams play in many tournaments in which they compete against teams from other universities with one aim: to win the cup. And they are very successful.
IUBH Tennis Team
The IUBH tennis team meets twice a week for training. Everybody is welcome, no matter what playing skills you have. The team plays in sports halls in the area . If you want to, you can also join the competition team that plays against other squads.
IUBH Volleyball Team
The IUBH Volleyball Team welcomes everyone who would like to play volleyball. This semester the team trains twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
