The aim of the programme is to establish direct contact between prospective students, students and alumni and to facilitate exchange.
At the end of 2018, IUBH launched the Alumni Ambassador Programme in order to network alumni worldwide with current and upcoming generations of IUBH students. Successful alumni introduce themselves on the website and volunteer to answer questions from prospective and current students. The aim of the programme is to establish direct contact between prospective students, students and alumni and to facilitate exchange - independent of time and place. "I learned the importance of developing a personal network of contacts during my university studies and my professional work," sums up IUBH alumnus and ambassador Andreas Bieniek, who studied aviation management in Bad Honnef and now works as a business manager at Finnair.
The ambassadors give insights about their time while studying at IUBH and about possible career opportunities. Graduates from aviation management, hospitality management and tourism management, who work across the globe in Finland, Germany, Indonesia and China at well-known companies such as Finnair, Kempinksi Hotels or the Expedia Group, or have founded their own company, are actively involved.
